Leisure

Ullapool is  popular with small boat owners who find it an ideal location for refuelling their vessels, replenishing supplies and enjoying the area. There is good holding ground for boats to anchor to the south of the moorings.

There are eight trot moorings located to the south of the main pier, maximum capacity 15 tonnes or 15 metres.  The rate per night is £20 incl VAT.  A beautifully refurbished launching jetty is adjacent to the moorings which is well suited for dingy access for essential runs ashore.

There are six 12m visitor pontoons with electricity and fresh water. The rate per night is £30 incl VAT.

To avoid disappointment please contact the harbour well in advance to reserve a space.

On arrival at the harbour please either call up VHF 14/16 or phone 01854 612091 to get instructions and reserve a mooring.

Fresh water, fuel and waste facilities are available on the pier.  Ullapool Public Toilets, located in the ferry car park, have  shower and toilet facilities.  There are shower facilities at Lochbroom Leisure Centre on Quay Street (see https://www.highlifehighland.com/lochbroom-leisure-centre/Getting-here/ for opening times) . Ullapool Laundry (just off Latheron Lane) has a pick up and drop off or coin-operated service.

If you wish to come alongside please contact the harbour office on 07739 951 178 (Deputy Harbourmaster) or 07739 951 179 (24 hours) to discuss your plans; a 40 metre landing pontoon facility on the inside of the pier is available by prior arrangement for taking on provisions, water and fuel.
