Ullapool is becoming increasingly popular with small boat owners who find it an ideal location for refuelling their vessels, replenishing supplies and enjoying the area. There is good holding ground for boats to anchor to the south of the moorings. 

The harbour has installed 8 Trot moorings for visiting vessels of 15metres or less in a joint initiative with the Crown Estate.  The rate per night is £12 with discounts available for longer stays, Ullapool Sailing Club is close at hand should you require any assistance or advice on sailing matters they would be more than happy to oblige.  There is a launching jetty adjacent to the moorings, well suited for dingy access for those essential runs ashore.

On arrival at the harbour either call up VHF 14/16 or phone 01854 612091 to get instructions and reserve a mooring.  Fresh water, fuel, and waste facilities are available on the pier, the local leisure has showers available from 10am-8pm daily and the Ullapool laundry has a pick up and drop off or coin operated service.   

If you wish to come alongside please contact the harbour office on the above number to discuss your plans, there is a newly installed 40metre pontoon facility on the inside of the pier which is available by prior arrangement for taking on provisions, water and fuel.
